The CRU believes the burglaries likely took place between May and September of 2021. As a result of the investigations, which took 100's of hours, two arrests were initially made:
Bradley Stroh, age 29, of McMinnville and Chelsea Draegert, age 34, of McMinnville were lodged in the Yamhill County Jail pending multiple charges including, but not limited to:
Identity Theft Unlawful Possession of weapons by certain felons, Unlawful possession of machine guns, certain short-barrel firearms and firearm silencers, Altercation, removal or obliteration of the ID number of a firearm Theft I Burglary I Criminal Mischief II Possession of a burglary tool or theft device Burglary II Theft by Receiving Aggravated Theft I Aggravated ID theft Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle
PUBLIC VIEWING OF RECOVERED ITEMS
During the investigation hundreds of items were seized that we have been unable to locate owners for. If you were a victim of a residential or construction site burglary in the McMinnville, Newberg or Salem area from May of 2021 through September, 2021, you are welcome to come to a public viewing of the items. If you identify an item as belonging to you, proof of ownership will be required. Proof of ownership can include a serial number, a owner applied number, a police report with a detailed description, photos of the item, etc.
Multiple firearms were also seized including makes such as Glock, Sig Sauer, Remington and Barretta.
The viewing will be held at the McMinnville Civic Hall on December 4th from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm and on December 5th from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm. The Civic Hall is location at 200 NE 2nd St, at the corner of 2nd St. and Baker Street.
Valid identification will be required prior to viewing the items.
