Biden tells America 'we're on track to win'
Soon after midnight on election day, Joe Biden told America 'we feel good about where we are' as the race for the White House remains on a knife edge.

In an address to Americans as the race continues Biden told the nation "we feel good about where we are."

"We believe we are on track to win this election", he said.

"We knew because of the unprecedented early vote, the mail-in vote, that it was going to take a while.

"We're going to have to be patient until the hard work of tallying votes is finished.

Biden urged everyone to be patient for an election result,"We believe we're on track to win this election."

Soon after, Donald Trump said that his campaign was ahead, tweeting: "We are up BIG, but they are trying to STEAL the Election.

Sound familiar?

"We will never let them do it. Votes cannot be cast after the Poles (sic) are closed!"

Biden's campaign said the race for the White House remains a "slog" as the margin between he and Donald Trump remains very close.
