Portland Police Bureau Missing Persons detectives are investigating the reported parental abduction of 3-year-old Victoriya Gornichar. Witnesses reported seeing the child being taken from her home, in the 10000 block of Northeast Beech Street, during the early morning hours of April 4th, 2011, by her biological father, 25-year-old Aleksandr Yarovoy. Yarovoy is a subject of interest in this investigation.

Detectives have determined that the father was restrained from both the child and her mother, per a valid Multnomah County Circuit Court Restraining Order. While this case is being investigated as an unlawful parental abduction, detectives want to stress that this has not been classified as an Amber Alert.

Victoriya is described as a white female, 3 years old, with curly dark blonde hair and blue eyes. She stands approximately 3 feet tall and weighs 30 pounds. She is missing some upper front teeth and was last seen wearing purple and green Tinkerbell pajamas. Aleksandr Yarovoy is described as a white male, 25 year old, who stands 5'08" tall and weighs 220 pounds. He has short brown hair, brown eyes, and was last seen wearing a black jacket and dark blue jeans. The two may be traveling in a dark green, 1995 BMW 740i sedan, with unknown Oregon license plates.

Anyone who knows of their whereabouts is asked to immediately call 9-1-1. Anyone with additional information about this case is asked to contact Detective Mike Weinstein, at 503-823-0446.
