This morning, Monday March 28, 2011, at approximately 1:02 a.m., Portland Police responded the report of an armed robbery at the Shamrock Tavern, located at 4919 Southeast 82nd Avenue. Officers arrived and learned that the suspects had fled the area in an unknown direction.

Officers learned that the suspects entered the bar by smashing out the glass in a door and ordered two customers onto the ground while demanding money from the bartender. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of money, the suspects ordered the bartender to stay in a closest as they fled the area.

Nobody was injured during the robbery.

The suspects are described as two males wearing masks, wearing all black clothing, and armed with handguns.
