Previous story 25-year-old woman Dies at Hospital after Woodlawn Shooting Next story

PORTLAND, Oregon - On Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at 8:55p.m., North Precinct officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 6800 block of Northeast Martin Luther King Junior Boulevard. When they arrived they located two shooting victims, an adult male and adult female. The victims were transported to a hospital for treatment.

The female victim was identified as Danae K. Williams, 25, of Portland. She was pronounced dead at the hospital. Her family has been notified of her death. The male victim was still in the hospital with critical injuries, but is expected to survive.

Detectives believe several witnesses may have left the scene prior to talking to officers, and they hope to hear from those witnesses as soon as possible and they hope to hear from those witnesses as soon as possible.
