PORTLAND, Oregon - On April 23, 2021, at 7:57 a.m., a Portland Police Bureau officer assigned to the Central Precinct drove by a parked, no plated vehicle with a subject asleep at the wheel. The vehicle was parked near the intersection of SE 14th Ave and SE Main St. The officer stopped to investigate and could see a firearm inside the car.

Notice of the find sent other officers to the scene and together they discovered $11,000 in cash, drugs, and two guns.

28-year-old Patrick Rocha Dacosta was arrested and taken to the Multnomah County Detention Center, charged with two counts of a Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Possession of a two counts of Possession of a Loaded Firearm in Public, Delivery of Methamphetamine (speed), as well as Possession of Methamphetamine.
