On Sunday, February 21, 2021, law enforcement officers from the Marion County Sheriff's Office, Hubbard Police Department, and Woodburn Police Department began investigating a string of food cart burglaries in northern Marion County.

Officers from the Hubbard Police Department reported during the burglary of the Little Axaca food cart the suspect was interrupted by the business owner. The owner told officers at about 7:30 a.m. they arrived at the food cart, only to find a suspect still inside of the business. The suspect ran to a nearby vehicle where there was a driver waiting inside.

The suspect fleeing from the Little Axaca food cart is described as a white male adult with blonde or light brown hair. He is estimated to be in his 20's, and between 5'7 and 6'0 tall with a medium build.

The vehicle waiting nearby is believed to be a newer dark blue Kia Sorento or similar vehicle. The driver is described as a white male adult with brown or black hair, possibly in their 20's.
