Previous story Man In Serious Condition After Being Stabbed on Max Train Next story

PORTLAND, Oregon - This afternoon police were called to the Hollywood Transit Center located in the 4100 block of Northeast Halsey Street. A fight between two people reportedly began on the Max platform. Both the suspect and the victim then entered a train where the suspect stabbed the victim. The victim suffered serious physical injury and was transported to an area hospital by ambulance.

The suspect has not been arrested at this time.

Officers have secured the crime scene and detectives with the Portland Police Bureau Assault Detail are assisting in the investigation.

The PIO is not responding to the scene.
