PORTLAND, Oregon - East Precinct officers have responded to the area of Southeast Division Street and Southeast 158 Avenue on reports that shots were fired in the area. When officers arrived they found two adult male victims with gunshot wounds. The victims' medical statuses are unknown at this time.

One victim of the shooting has died, the second has been transported to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Officers have secured a crime scene. Given the circumstances of the incident, there is no threat to the community.

The PIO is not responding to the scene.
