Armed Robber Arrested in Lloyd District

PORTLAND, Oregon - A suspect is facing a robbery charge after he threatened store employees with a knife.

North Precinct officers responded to a robbery call in the 400 Block of Northeast Broadway at 6:40p.m. on Sunday, September 22, 2019. As officers responded, they learned that someone was following the suspect and he was in a parking lot a few blocks away. Officers located a man matching the description of the suspect and arrested him.

Robbery detectives responded to assist with the investigation. Investigators determined that the suspect entered a cell phone store, took items without paying for them, then threatened an employee with a knife when he was challenged. He also knocked an employee down, causing a minor scrape.

Lance G. Fluker (photo), 55, of Portland, was booked in the Multnomah County Detention Center on a charge of Robbery in the First Degree and an outstanding warrant.
