UMATILLA, Ore. — Police in Umatilla say they're looking for a suspect in a beating death.

So far, two people are in custody. Umatilla County District Attorney Dan Primus said Wednesday the public is not in danger from a third suspect.

The paper says police records show a 911 caller at a truck stop police Tuesday night that a boy was lying in the middle of the street and several young men had run toward the truck-stop restaurant.

Primus says the victim died shortly afterward at a hospital.

The identities of the victim and the suspects were not released.
