Vancouver Police looking for 24-year-old woman in Hit-and-Run collison

VANCOUVER, Washington - On January 9, 2012 at approximately 6:35 p.m.., Vancouver Police responded to a hit and run collision involving a vehicle that hit a pedestrian in a marked crosswalk at Fourth Plain Blvd. and Neals Ln. The suspect vehicle did not stop and fled the scene. The victim, a 52 year old female, was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The suspect vehicle was located a short distance away in a parking lot unoccupied.

Police say the victim was walking in a marked crosswalk at Fourth Plain Boulevard and Neals Lane. Police identified the woman as Pyper, saying she did not stop and that she fled the scene. The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Pyper's vehicle was found unoccupied a short distance away in a parking lot.
