Before you know it, it will be summer. And I have to wish you early congratulations! Graduation is right around the corner. Yeah!!! With your singing/acting career taking off, what are your future plans, short term and long term?

That's right! Thank you!

I applied to USC film school and I think I will hear back from them in April. So, hopefully I'll get in there and that's long term. I'd like to be able to study the production side of film. That would be really cool. And I would like to do another movie in the upcoming year. I had so much fun with "Aquamarine" and would like to explore more in film as an actress. So, finishing school, graduating, my birthday is coming up?there's a whole bunch of things that I'm so excited for.

Do you see yourself one day as a producer or director?

I would love that! My dream is to become the female Clint Eastwood. He kind of does it all. And it's my ultimate goal.

"Darcy's Wild Life" is such a popular show; it's inspired a clothing line featuring Western fashion wear for young-teens and pre-teens. How much are you involved in the process? And on a side note, can we look forward to a Season 3?

Well, I haven't heard back on Season 3, but that would be really fun and we're keeping our fingers crossed. And speaking of which, this April, I've been nominated for a daytime Emmy for "Darcy's Wild Life." So that's pretty cool.

But yeah, they'll ask me because I'm a girl and I do love to shop (laughs). And they'll ask: 'Is this cute? Would you wear this?' So they'll ask me for advice. And when it was first starting, I helped them come up with the whole idea of what the style of the clothes should be, what the colors should be, and if it was something I would wear or not. And if I have an idea, I'll throw it out there. But they regularly listen to my ideas and they show me the sketches. So, I'm fairly involved.

Many people have compared you to a young Reese Witherspoon or even "Gilmore Girls" star Alexis Bledel. Whom do you most admire or aspire to in the film industry and why?

Reese has always been my idol and I'm so happy she won Best Actress. I just like those actresses that can overcome the stereotype of being the cute little blond girl. And she really did that. When I read in a magazine that she was going to play June Carter Cash, people were laughing at her. They thought that she couldn't do it and yet, she proved everybody wrong. And I really admire that.

Actresses who have done stuff like that inspire me. Like Charlize Theron, who totally changed her appearance. She's so gorgeous and just looked ugly in "Monster." But it's that kind of actress that I admire most.

Lastly, what's the one thing people would be surprised to learn about you?

People usually think that I'm a girly girl, but I'm kind of obsessed with video games. And while I do like to go shopping, I like to do other things too, like hanging out with my friends. I guess people are just surprised to learn that I'm really a big dork. Like, today at school, on the lawn, we had a contest to see who could roll on their stomachs the fastest (laughs)! Silly stuff like that. And people would be surprised to learn that I'm just the biggest class clown!
