Just got back from the 2008 Vail Film Festival! Lots of terrific movies, panels, and discussion. Plus, what better venue for a film festival than Vail Village? Absolutely beautiful!

While at the festival, I had the opportunity to rub elbows with some amazing actors and filmmakers. Most notably: Olivia Wilde (Turistas), Jesse Eisenberg (The Squid and the Whale), Amy Redford (The Guitar), Tim Daly (Private Practice), Jeremy Davies (Lost), and Adrian Grenier (Entourage). And will have interviews available soon.

Over the years, I've been to many film festivals, but none have been as pleasant and laid back as Vail. Plus, extremely people and press friendly - I've never had a better experience. Although only in it's 5th year, the festival continues to focus on the independent filmmaker and the audiences that enjoy great, artistic films - experimental, student, and professional. Hats off to Scott and Sean Cross, the Festival Directors, for putting on a great show! I'm looking forward to returning in 2009!
