SHERWOOD, Ore. (AP) — The city of Sherwood has been trying to decide whether to demolish or redevelop a former warehouse as part of the makeover of its Old Town area.
That decision was made easier by city inspectors who found roof support trusses are failing in the 50-year-old building. Plans had called for a $10 million renovation to turn it into a community center.
The Oregonian reports (http://is.gd/nV6RLn ) the Sherwood Urban Renewal Board will consider a resolution at its Tuesday meeting recommending demolition.
