Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Portland

PORTLAND, Oregon - On Saturday evening at 9:35 PM a crash involving a motorcyclist sent police and emergency medical responders found an adult mane lying on the roadway with serious injuries. He was taken to an area hospital by ambulance for life-threatening injuries.

Police say they believe the motorcyclist was traveling northbound on Interstate 205 when he rear-ended a vehicle. The motorcyclist fell off his bike and was hit by multiple vehicles.

During the resultant traffic investigation northbound Interstate 205 were closed north of Northeast Glisan Street.

Based on the injured man's condition, the Portland Police Bureau Traffic Division's Major Crash Team responded to lead the traffic crash investigation.
