Why don't you leave the darkside and come over and visit us sometime. Most liberals really make me angry. Everything is always so black and white with them. They are always the loving, caring, eco-friendly, people who are actually enlightened and trying to make the world a better place and we on the right wing are always evil, hate filled, people who are sheep to the evil government. Its such a catch phrase crock of bull.

There are two words that liberals throw around like its thier job. "Ignorant" and "Hate". The use of the word "ignorant" is so over used it makes me sick. Any view that is not thiers is "ignorant". I swear that on the side of you're sissy donkey it should be branded "Democrats: misusing the word ignorant for personal gain since '94". A person isnt ignorant because they don't like something. Ignorance is not being equated with all the facts. Why is it so unbelievable to you all that a person can be completely equated with all facts on an issue and just........... hmmmm, I don't know...... DISAGREE WITH YOU!?! I guess everyone is only entitled to thier opinion if that opinion is yours though. You know, I hear the word ignorant so often spouted from idiots complaining about the government and swearing about George Bush. Its getting ridiculous. I have no problem with people intellegently making an argument for anything, but when you cant tell me one thing other than the war in Iraq that you don't like about George Bush then you are not educated and should read a book or something then come back and start complaining when you are more informed to do so.

Its almost as if it's the new cool thing to scoff at the Right Wing and the Government. As I said, I have no problem with that. It's a free country. I'm simply asking that you do it intellegently and without throwing out words like "Ignorance" and "Hate" just because people disagree with you. Its funny that I hear the word "Hate" coming out of the mouths of Liberals far more often than any one else.

I thought the first statement on here was bitter and derogatory. How can anyone be that bad? That is, until I saw her on TV

I am watching this chick on CNBC as I am typing this. She is on the show called the Big Idea. It is a show about entrepreneurs and how they have turned their ideas into profitable businesses. She is on there promoting her book "If Republicans Had Brains, They Would be Democrats." I always watch this show for inspiration. Donny Deutsch is the host. She started talking about Jews and Donny mentioned that he is Jewish. Hmm, something that never occured to me. Because I like to watch him for his show, I don't care what religion he is. But this bitch actually said that Jews need to become perfected by becoming Christian. She said it again and again. All people need to become Christian. I couldn't believe my ears. She had actually taken a very positive show with a positive host and poisoned it. How evil.

Attacking Ann Coulter is a waste of all our time. If she weren't blonde and leggy, would we even know her name?

Suggestion:
1) Write to your congressmen at least as frequently as you make posts. (OMG diogenes!!!!)
2) Check your politician's voting records and vote out the ones who don't VOTE (ignore what they say) the way you would.

Then, knowing you have DONE something CONCRETE, get back to gossip.

Thank you for being the one intelligent, well-reasoned person on this thread. My faith in the people of this country, and their ability to make thoughtful statements has not gone completely down the drain. For the most part, the posting on this thread are going back and forth between what is wrong with the opposing political party. Liberals are calling conservatives stupid, and conservatives are calling liberals unintelligent.

Why bring God and faith into a political argument? I believe that in this country we do call for a separation of church and state. If that does not make sense...GOD AND GOVERNMENT ARE SEPARATE. Please leave all of your God/Christian/Judiac/Muslim beliefs out of this debate. No, I am not athiest, nor am I agnostic (Catholic if you must know) so please do not assume I am saying this because I do not believe in God, quite the contrary actually.

Before even attempting to make arguments, try opening your mind a little more. Then maybe the debate could be somewhat more intelligent rather than the ridiculous mudslinging and religious rantings going on.

To make this post somewhat relevant to the topic at hand...
I am completely disgusting by what Ann Coulter has to say. If I were to use the word ignorance and intolerance it would be to describe her.
Anyone else think she is out there just because she is a pretty face and that is it? Sadly though, there are people out there who do agree with what she has to say. If there is one thing that makes me ashamed of this country it is that. Closed-minded, intolerant people who consider themselves worldy, cultured, and worst of all, intelligent.

Given that I do not believe every thing I am told and that I am indeed a U.S. citizen, I'll leave the conclusion to you. On a side note, I think it's hilarious that from a Conservative standpoint all liberals (liberals=anyone not Christian-Conservative) are hate-filled, anti-American heratics. I speak in generalities, naturally, with the realization that not all bodies in a group of people are entirely like-minded.

I think we can all agree that the United States is an astounding country, in all aspects. (if we didn't agree on that, why are we here arguing in the first place?) What's truly demoralizing & enervating, to the American people as well as our international brothers & sisters, is the blatant lack of logical thought or conscience involved in much of what we hear & see from our own people every day. And what's truly disturbing is that for all the Christian posturing, it all stems from pure selfishness. When our primary political agenda is international dominance & we bully, lie, steal, and kill to accomplish the agenda, all moral betting is off. You forfeit your right to a moral standing at that point -- American, French, Russian, German...the who is not important, the how & why is. Patriotism, or a lack of, doesn't even come into play except as a distraction from the truth.

I am reasonably sure the vast majority of you are acquainted with people from various religious backgrounds and faiths. I am just as certain, having some of the aforementioned acquaintances myself, that no matter what your religion there is a basic moral foundation in which we all stand & believe. That foundation includes the belief that there are certain behaviors that are just plain wrong. Such as dishonesty, theft, & murder; the primary wrongs of our political bodies among others. Wouldn't you then agree that a person's belief in God has no place in an intelligent, fact-based political discussion? Religion is based on faith, not fact. Yet the statements here tell a different story. It really disgusts me when people have the audacity to claim their personal beliefs are the only correct ones, therefor factual & not spiritual. Here is an example of fact: I am, at this very moment, alive & breathing. Here is an example of faith: There is a God. I can prove the fact with the evidence of my own flesh & blood. I cannot prove my faith. So when a conversation is centered around facts and driven by truth, do not bring your religion into it. In my experience, involving spiritual beliefs in a political discussion is the tool of someone who has no facts to back up their claims & must rely on the unprovable or improbable. After all, it's impossible to argue with faith -- you either believe it or you don't.

What further astounds me, thank you Ilana for getting the ball rolling on this one, is that you start out with fists swinging and an unwavering moral position. Yet the same moral position shifts depending on the issue. You are Pro-Life. A noble stance to take indeed & one that I can respect even while I disagree. However, it ceases to be a place of respect when you start making exceptions to your own rules to suit yourself. "Killing is wrong. Abortion is killing." Ok, I agree. "Well, killing is ok when it's war. Or self-defense. Or when the person killed is really, really bad. You know, like gays." There's a word for people like that: hypocrite. Ok, there are other words but I promised myself I wouldn't stoop to personal insults.

I'd love, love, love to see the people in this country stand up & hear them say something both logical and political. It doesn't matter which side of the party fence you stand on nor does it matter where your beliefs lie. So long as it's intelligent & informed. Pack a lunch & leave your faith at home please.

It’s interesting to note that Ann Coulter who marches in step and has picked up the smoky torch of the late Jerry Fallwell; still beats the mythical drum of Untruths, Separatist references and Homophobic Sensationalism with the intent of discrediting and shaming those “other” persons who are supposedly trying to demonize the American Way
She then points her finger in a stance of blaming those she defines as “secularist” identifying them as Gay, Lesbian, Pagans, Abortionist, Kennedy’s, Barry Lynn and the ACLU stating “You helped this happen” speaking in reference to the events of September 11th, 2001. Ummm…..you forgot two, Hillary and Bill Clinton.
The story gets worse from here folks; she goes on in her infantile and bigoted speech stating that “God was protecting America, to not let the Terrorism of 09/11/2001 happen while a Democrat was in office”
Confirming her Love of Self-Righteous Hatred, she spews forth on behalf of the Liberals that shes lambasting throughout the article; stating that theres a schedule of Hatred to be had and freely shared towards Jesus Christ, Jerry Fallwell and even Ann Coulter herself.
Adding more smoke to this mirrored room of Free Hate Speech in a self-created and deluded environment similar to that of the movie; The Stepford Wives, she even turns on her idol Jerry Fallwell who afforded gays a blanket clause of reprieve from their disgusting ways called “A qualifier” which I can only interpret at this time as acceptance of gays as long as they deny their natural, god-given sex drives and only pursue a relationship with a God of Mrs. Coulters understanding being Organized Religion.
The next 8 sentences of the article surround the “Tinky Winky” escapade starting in early 1998 when Jerry Fallwell was trying to railroad the American Consciousness into believing that the gays were recruiting and driving young American men and women to Homosexuality.
She finishes her “Tinky Winky” tirade quoting that Mr. Fallwell thought the Showtime program “Queer as Folk” was gay and he had no credibility in saying that.
I don’t know about you but “Queer as Folk” is the Soapiest most Drama-Laden show representing the subculture of Homosexuality that I’ve ever seen!
Is it possible that Ann Coulter could really be that out of touch?
Realizing her venomous attacks and overwhelming pressure to adapt to fashionable beliefs and café society, she once again passes the buck, into the dead Reverends and Son of God’s Lap and confirms her own martyrdom comparing her experience of being hated to that of Jesus Christ?!!!
I don’t know about you reader but “Ignorance really is NOT Bliss” and the only thing that Mrs. Coulter as been able to define for me in this article at is that she’s undeniably and certifiably an ENORMOUS HORSES ASS!

P.S. It’s really chickenshit of you Mrs. Coulter to not afford us General Public feedback about your Bullshit Rhetoric!!!! Go Read a Book and Flunk a Test.

I find the people who keep calling Ann a hate-monger don't mind that comedians like Bill Maher and other Holllywood types spew hatred against Conservatives and Christians all the time. So therefore, the people who call Ann a hatemonger are pretending to be outraged by the false accusations they hurl at those with whom they disagree. But then again Democrats and Libs are always in a make-believe world the way I see it.

I am a Canadian and I love Americans. Today I received through my facebook a video of Ann Coulter insulting Canada. To tell you the truth, I never heard of her before - I'm not into politics, unfortunately. When I first viewed this video of Ann Coulter, I was angry and shocked and also thought it was funny at the same time. She is definately ignorant about a lot of things, and it's too bad.

I then did a search on Ann Coulter, and this site came up. WOW. I had no idea about this woman and now that I have read most of this thread on her, I am sorry for her. She will come around some day, and she will be sorry for the person she has become. It's too bad most of us take the things she says 'personally', because she doesn't mean what she says. She is full of hate and self suffering and is not Free. She is in the middle of her own Hell because she makes herself the victim every time she speaks, and she will never have inner peace and happiness until she forgives the people in her life that have hurt her, then she can forgive herself, love herself, and then she can be transformed into the person she really is. That girl does not like herself, and she will continue to make a fool of herself and insult others, until she does. We are not responsible for the actions or careless comments of others, we are only responsible for ourselves, and if we don't take what this woman says personally, we will not suffer or be hurt by her comments or actions. Does this make sense? She is lying to herself everyday, and until she sees the truth, she will be this person that everybody hates.

P.S. I am driving to New York City in a couple of weeks for the first time and I want to see and feel what it is like in the city I've always dreamed of. Wish me luck!..........................................carol

How about if you define what you mean by a "Nazi"? The Nazis were socialists--they believed that the government should take tare of everyone and have a lot of control over people's lives. ( YOu know, Government health care, government benefits to take care of everyone for life. High taxes. This is known as liberalism in America).So, Ann Coulter cannot be a Nazi, since she is very much a socialist and government interference in people's lives, and of course, liberalism.
The claim that she is a slut and never bathes, is true, would have been picked up by the press a long time ago, and been brought up at every opportunity. Also, the person making these claims is remaining anonymous--if all this were true, the press would treat this person like a hero for coming forward and being so "brave". So, sorry, I don't believe you. Give us some actual evidence.
As for her spewing hate: what Ann does is say things which are factually not true--she has a biting, satirical manner, and has called herself a "cranky conservative". WHen liberals say Bush is a liar, for example, they point to something he said which turns out to be true (such as that British Intelligence believed Saddam had WMDs--which British Intelligence really did believe!!!!! (And which turns out to be true--unless you are a liberal, and don't count the ones trucked out of Iraq, or the ones found in Iraq,because of the lame excuse that they were "old").When Ann calls someone a liar, she is factually accurate--as when she mentions that Clinton said "I did not have sex with that woman" (and plenty of other things).
So instead of arguing with her facts, which are accurate, you use name-calling, which is not an argument.

It never ceases to amaze me that when an educated (at least they consider themselves so) liberal pontificates about republican leaders, they use words like nazi, idiots, boobs, jerks, etc. When Republicans speak of Democrats, it always seems to be of a more polite tone. When a person like Ann Coulter comes along it is so different, it gnaws at the liberal elite because it is someone stealing a little bit of their platform. She has both the brains and the lip to drive them nuts, and because most other right wing talking heads keep it civil, she stands out. It draws out nuts like this author to call her 5th grade names, and make claims that you'd only expect to hear in a playground. Well, thank God for Ann and I love to see her drive leftists crazy. Remember, Bush has won in Iraq, the surge worked, terror camps were found in Iraq (Salmon Pak), WMD were found, the Sunni and Shia are now getting along, foreign fence sitters are now coming to our side (France, Germany), generations of vets and their families are now voting republican due to Murtha and Reid, and Christmas is just around the corner. What better Christmas present can we ask for.

You sound burned out. Think about what you are saying. You say liberals are more trustworthy then conservatives. Let's see...Jack Murtha saying the marines in Haditha were murderers before they were found innocent, Hillary saying she's against the war after voting to fund it, Kerry saying he was in in favor of funding the war before he was against it, Harry Reid saying the war was lost while our troops were there fighting and losing limbs, Barack Obama telling school kids he smoked crack, or Nancy Polosi not sending one appropriations bill to the White House so far this year (a record not topped for over25 years), but she has plenty of time to send stupid "end the war" fruitless bills forward that all lose. I wouldn't trust a liberal as far as I can throw one. They change their position all the time! Now the Democratic talking points are that maybe we have won the war (damn it), but the Iraqi government hasn't come along as fast as it should have. WHY DON'T THEY JUST SAY WE WON!! They know they are looking stupid right now.

John Kerry deserved what he got from the swift boat vets. These guys saw his action first hand. Remember Kerry still won't release his service records. When he released his DD214, all vets saw that there was a big question there. His terminal date of reserve obligation was not 6 years after he went in as is always the case. His was later, coincidentally the date President Ford granted blanket amnesty to war protestors. Remember while he was on reserve status, he met with the NVA in Hannoi and talked against the government. Trust him? he told you for decades that he threw his medals away in front of the capitol, but when he ran for President he changed to say they were a friends medals not his, and he forgot who. Swift Boated? He deserved it, he betrayed his country and all veterans like myself who supported our government.

You don't have to answer Jim, I won't lose sleep over it. But if you can't see that the Democrats chose to embrace all fringe groups all with various levels of disgust and disrespect. They can have them. You mention born again Christians in a negative tone. Too bad, you need to think a little. Christians are against abortion, in favor of prayer, against homosexuality, against criminal behavior. We are the good guys. The quiet majority. The section of America that Hillary won't go near. The moral majority, the bible belt, the religous fanatics...scary people.

I am proud to be an American. I will always support my government. We are right on this war. If the defeatists got there way, we would have pulled out already and the bad guys would have taken over Iraq and probably other neighboring countries; some with nukes. Remember, those liberals you find trustworthy had no plan after pulling out. They just didn't want to talk about that stuff. Bush kept at it. Now we are at the brink of victory and peace. Lets just hope the Democrats stay out of the way so the final steps can be executed.

I don't have the time to repond to your answer, at least to each point. I will however take a stab at a few of your dozens of false and misleading liberal poinys.
You changed the subject on Jack Murtha. I said he accused marines of murder before any investigation which later proved them innocent. You said, oh well, some marines have murdered. My point was that this elected representative of the people jumped the gum and in an effort to try to embarass the President, made a damned fool of himself. He is now being sued by those marines, as he should be. Answer the question Frank, don't sidestep it like you have done all through your e-mail. Murtha is a disgrace and he should be sanctioned for this unforgivable conduct by a "law maker". And what is your little jab about the cops? Who's talking about them? It shows where your coming from. I bet you still call them pigs don't you?

You are right that I support my ideas. You call me sick. Frank you are just a left over hippy still whaling about the pigs and injustice. grow up, get a hair cut, and get a job.

You defend Hillary and Kerry by saying they changed their minds and so what. The only problem is that neither of them said that. It's just you Frank trying to spim it for the readers. Your list of things you hate about Bush is typical. You can't believe Gore lost, you can't believe the court stoped Gore's whining and gave Florida to the Republicans. Tough Frank. Live with it. You lost! You keep on with the Bush lied stuff but you never admit that your boy Bill Clinton said the exact same things during George H Bush's Presidency. So did Gore. These clips have been seen on numerous reports. Did Clinton and Gore lie Frank? You are just upset that Clinton's legacy is his cigar trick and relieving himself in the White House sink instead of in Monica. Bush's legacy will be beating the Islam-o fascists into submission and setting up the mid-east for future peace. Something old Bill Clinton only wishes he had.

Most of the rest of your babble is typical liftist propaganda. Killing civilians in war, detaining terrorists without trails, torture claims, stepping on people's rights, etc. Frank bombs kill bad gubs and sometimes innocents. This is what war is about. It is unfortunate, but it does happen. As for detaining without due process, you seem to think that Islamo fascists deserve American rights. Where do you get that from? They don't have our legal rights. In war time a captured person can't go to court to bitch about his detention. The proper venue is the military system, not our courts Frank. That's what came out of all that. Don't you remember? Or are you just content spinning it with the opening argument but not the final resolution. The court found that our court system was not the correct way to deal with these worms. The military court system was. Bush was not wrong on that.

I looked at some of your other posts over the years Frank. All similar, a Kerry supporter, a leftie all the way. Always name calling the Republicans. yadda yadda yadda.
